I have been craving pizza for a few days, so today I made my first homemade Spinach pizza and to be honest, next time I am craving pizza, I will just make a low-fat version of my usual (ham, pepperoni & banana peppers)!! My daughter is on this journey w/me, so we thought we'd try a healthy version of pizza, but unfortunately, it just didn't work for us!. The best part of the meal was the salad!!
When I asked my husband what he thought, he says,"Well it's different!"...which means he didn't like it, but didn't want to hurt my feelings since I made it! My daughter said she "liked" it, which means she probably won't be eating anymore of it! The recipe called for lots of garlic, and I love me some garlic, but I think I'll still be tasting it next week!!
With all that being said, next time I want PIZZA, I will splurge a bit on my favorite homemade pizza!!
I think it's ok to give a little here & there, but don't make a habit of it!!
