Quit watching life and start living it

I will not keep letting life pass me by. I am dedicated to being healthier. I quit smoking monday and am now trying to do all of my workouts and a bit more if I can. I will not be keeping track of my food at this time. However, I am going to try to watch what I eat. I am focused on my smoking right now. Today is the first day without a cig and i hope that yesterday was last one with a cig.

    Thank you tomato!!! I am a nonsmoker of 6 days now. I will not smoke again. I have no desire to. The only time that bothers me is when I first get in the truck. I survived the first couple of days and now I am going to live the next 50 years. I will not and am not going to ever smoke again. I don't want o be stinky or dirty any more.

    Keep up the good work. Know that if you quit and do this one day at a time, it will get easier. It can be tough in the beginning though, but you can do this. I did it like 21 years ago. I was able to stay quit, because the first 72 hours was so tough for me that I told myself, if I didn't pick up, I would never have to do that first 72 hours over. So, be proud of yourself. It's one of the best gifts you can give yourself!
