Well it has been three months since I recommitted to getting fit again. I restructured my exercise program to include two days a week of intense water aerobics in addition to all my walking and elliptical workouts. I added more stretching, controlled breathing, and spiritual work.
The good news...it is working. I have lost 18 pounds and am back to my "normal" weight, I have more energy and a desire to stay focused.
It does take a lot more time and effort though, I won't deny it. Constantly making sure I make healthy food choices, get the workouts done, light the candle and breathe, read and stay educated on health modalities.....I can see why sometimes I have slipped over the last thirty years.
Right now though, I am pumped up, content, and feeling good. I am not going to swear that I will never gain weight again...I am just going to set the intention, stay focused and hope for the best.
