Well Demetri Steven Franco came into this world on the evening of May 7th 2012. He was 6lbs 5oz and 19 1/2 inches long. The doctor's and nurses said he was 4 weeks premature even though I was only 2 weeks away from my due date. He had a little trouble breathing on his own and was put on oxygen. Later that night they took him off the oxygen and he was breathing fine on his own. Mommy was no allowed to see him for 24 hours after delivery because I had a fever at the time of delivery and they needed to make sure I wasn't sick.
We brought him home from the hospital when he was 8 days old and he has been such a good baby. He practically sleeps through the night and hardly ever really cries. He is getting his own little personality now and I love him more and more everyday! I can't imagine what I would be doing without him in my life.
My husband has been such a supportive person in my life right now. He gets up with me everynight when I have to feed the baby and he helps me even after he gets home from work. He even changes dirty diapers (and not just the pee pee ones either)! Our son Paul is such a good big brother. He does as he is asked and loves to help with his baby brother. He got to carry his little brother to his daddy the other day from one side of our sectional couch to the other. He was sooo proud of himself.
The only major complaint in my life right now is that my mother lives with us and she is driving me crazy. She is stealing my makeup and messing with the thermostat. She isn't helping me clean the house like she is supposed to be (the whole reason she is living here). And I just had to spend a fortune fixing her car so she didn't have to bum rides from my husband. What I paid into her car could have put gas in my car for a year! I am helping her more than she is helping me right now and that is not what is supposed to happen. I am left alone all day while she is at work or hanging out with firends (mostly hanging out with friends since she only works 3days out of the week and they are only 4 hour shifts) and she has the nerve to come home to MY house and tell me that it isn't clean or complain that there is still dishes in the sink! She also likes to complain about how my husband (who works 40 hours a week and pays the bills) is a lazy person that doesn't do anything. My husband helps me more than she does at this point.
Ok so anyway I had to get some of that off my chest. But yes my little handsome man is here and he is the most precious thing EVER!!!!
