I bought some shorts the beginning of last summer and when I got them I could barely get them up and they were no where near buttoning. I just put those shorts on and they are LOOSE! What an AWESOME feeling! I've lost almost 35lbs since last year, and I'm very proud of that, but I want to really get on it this summer and lose the rest of this weight. I'm almost half way through the 80lbs I've been carrying around that I certainly do not need.
One of the areas I really want to focus on is my belly. I'm sure all women can relate, especially the moms, with that issue. My pants would literally fall off if it wasn't for this belly pooch. I hate it! I remember when my belly was nice and flat...ah the good ol days! But I'm working to get it back there! I've been doing Jillian Michaels DVDs and she is TOUGH! My arms are sore, my butt is sore, my legs are sore, my belly is sore. EVERYTHING hurts! But it's a good hurt. It's a hurt where I know it's working.
I'm going to a BBQ today at a friends house and I'm hoping there will be things there for me to eat. I am making a pasta salad with fat free feta cheese, light italian dressing, cucumbers, and tri-color rotini, so at least I'll be able to eat that! Hopefully they'll have some grilled chicken or something.
