Week 1 Day 5
-What is your favorite healthy food?
Oh wow...
Can there be only one??
I can't just choose one. I have a few healthy foods that I really love. Being a Michigan girl, I learned to eat what was in season.
When it comes to summer, I love the fresh berries. Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and of course can't forget cherries.. not sure those are a berry though! The summertime is the only time I will eat these very delicious and filling fruit.. Even though we do preserve them, I prefer to eat them fresh. And to buy them in the stores during the winter is a NEVER with me!! I think they taste horrible!
There are many vegetables that I love from our garden.. (my mouth is starting to water just thinking about it.) I love green beans, radishes, beets and tomatoes. I don't know how many times I have hurt my mouth from eating too many tomatoes and the acids hurting my mouth.
I also love cauliflower and cabbage and broccoli. We don't plant these though so we have to buy these.
I also really love to eat Grapefruit. I probably eat grapefruit 4 or 5 times a week.
So really, to sum it up, there's alot of healthy food that I really like!!
