“What man actually needs is not a tensionless state but rather the striving and struggling for some goal worthy of him. What he needs is not the discharge of tension at any cost, but the call of a potential meaning waiting to be fulfilled by him.” ~ Victor Frankl

Trying to get more than one thing done at once! Hah! Hard to do. So today will be a piece-meal kinda day. Excitement is high. Can't sit still for long. Up and gathering my "stuff"on the dining room table. Lacing shoes. Need to put sunscreen in a smaller container. What about this and that? Send hubby for almonds. Check on things to get over to colleague's house - helper is finishing cleaning over there.
Am I remembering to drink enough today? Relieved to have a good night's sleep last night - hope that repeats tonight. Ready blogs for today, tomorrow, Sunday - make it easy to stay in touch. One more appeal for donations. Check forecast - s'posed to be cloudy in the a.m. tomorrow and maybe a little rain. High 90F.
Started working on presentation once again - tried to finish a section last night but too tired so shut down computer at 10. Later than I wanted to go to bed, but no need to be up super-early today - up at 5. Yesterday made my bread and some whole grain cornbread and put that in freezer last night. A little time working on a website link yesterday - success!
Some of the things that other walkers are saying to me are going 'round in my head - negative thoughts. So I am responding to those thoughts with the truth! I AM well-prepared! I trained well! I AM READY!!! Just Breathe.
I see that I am sharing with you the way I am thinking today! Bit by bit I will get through the day and accomplish everything. Did I say that I am excited?!!!
Not sure if I will be able to get on again until after the 40K. So Plz - think about us. Pray for us if you pray. Some of the women doing this have not trained. I will letcha know later how we did. This will be a memory-making, mind-altering, learn-whatcher-made-of day!
This all weighs 22 lbs!!!
