I know that I have a good ways to go before I am out of the overweight category, but I am feeling so good and my clothes are fitting so much better. We are in week 4 of our summer slim down program and are still loving it even though it is HARD work. This past Monday was the first workout that afterwards I thought I might throw up! (I didn't luckily!)
I am down to 152 and just 2 1/2 months ago I was at 168, so I am pleased to say the least. With my lighter weight, I am able to run faster and that makes me happy too. I am a slow runner so when I say faster, well it's all relative. But last Saturday, I ran 5.75 miles in 53 minutes and that was a major victory for me!
Anyway, I am liking the feel of a lighter me and liking the fact that I am so much stronger than I thought and can do so much more than I ever thought possible. I know I am not unique in this, I think this applies to all people, even YOU!
