Today, Friday, May 25, 2012, I really, really really don't want to gain weight over this long weekend! I'm so grateful to Jody for putting together a challenge to keep each other focused this weekend on the BIG Picture, so we don't get caught up with the festivities.
I've committed to going to the gym all 3 days this weekend, I am stocking up on healthy food today to keep my eating in control, the biggest temptation will be drinking. I haven't had any alcohol in a few weeks (to cut the empty calories out) - but hot weather and BBQs go hand in hand with cold beer.
The only beer we have in the house is the blueberry beer that I do NOT like - so I think I will be safe :)
Some of my daily really, really, really blogs will focus on the big picture (getting to my goal weight), or longer term goals that are a few months out - but some, like today will focus on these little steps I need to take to get to those big goals :)
