Yesterday - Day 4 (I did alright.)

I got a little busy yesterday, so I didn't get to post.

I was lazy yesterday. I didn't walk with my mom (we work in the same building) in the AM because I was in meetings, but in the afternoon I was being a lazy-butt. Then, when I got home, I did not use the elliptical. I did walk around a lot with the baby girl, and gave her a bath. Those two activities had to have burned some calories. She probably weighs about 18-20 pounds by now.

I did pretty good with food yesterday. I only went over my calories by about 100. And that is because I added some yummy bits of cheese to my spinach salad. It was soo good, but not necessary. My husband found an amazing cheese at Whole Foods, so we bought a tiny chunk of it. I stuck to about an ounce, so I seem to be handling portions pretty well.

Mark, my hubby, was mighty "bad" yesterday. I'm mostly jealous, and that is why I am calling him out. LOL!!!! Someone at work gave him a red velvet cupcake the size of a small planet. (He is also on SparkPeople trying to get healthier.) He waited to text me until after he ate the ENTIRE thing!!!!! I'm guessing he did that because he knew I would tell him to put half of it in a baggie for me, or at least save it for the next day. He also texted me a picture of it (that made things worse). :-) Such a tease. It looked amazing, by the way. Anyway, he paid the price because it put him over his calories by about 400 or so.

Anyway, today I'm working from home. I'm hoping to get on the elliptical for about 10 - 20 minutes. Maybe I'll put in one of my dancing games for the Wii. I need to get the activity in today. I'm already planning to eat some oatmeal for breakfast, a spinach salad with a little blue cheese dressing, and Kraft Chile-Lime chicken. I love those new panko and cheese packs. I'm not sure what I'm going to have with it. Maybe some Quinoa with diced tomatoes.
