long week end

It's going to be a long week end...

What have you done to make it a healthy one??

I have planned my meals, got fresh fruits and vegetables ready so the high fat snacks don't tempt me. I bought watermelon, for my sweet treat. I have sun screen and lots of water and sugarless tea to keep me safe there too. I have planned my exercise routine too, lots of hiking, walking and hoping some swimming too....

planning is the true key to success, it also stops the worry some people have about what will I do when everyone else is eating empty calories...

Don't for get the almost calorie free jello and pop cysles....they can help get you over the hump cool and refreshing...

    I just made a batch of fat free cheese cake pudding and blended strawberry popsicles!!! Excited to tast one!!

  Oh, I love Popsicles, and I have my watermelon too. I cubed it up this afternoon, and it sits in a bowl, in the fridge. Have a great and safe weekend to you and Gary!

    Sounds like you're going to have a great, healthy weekend, Kitt!!! I am going to the Farmer's Market tomorrow morning and will be stocking up on fresh fruits and veggies. My son is going to put up the badmitten set and we will be planning badmitten to get in some other exercise beside the walking that I'm planning on doing.

    Plan are good. I created a meal plan for the start of my vacation so that I would not get sidetracked from my healthier eating habits. Long car drives could be deadly for calories! Vending machines have horrible selections and fast food have their danger points as well. Packed breakfast, lunch, dinner and all my snacks ahead. Now to enjoy the car ride!
