My dad lost his battle... :(

Friday, May 25, 2012

My dad was diagnosed, then shortly after admitted to the hospital, and he passed away last Sunday. His funeral is today and my heart has broken into a million pieces. But I'm at peace knowing that he's no longer in pain. Today is going to be a long day. I need to be strong for my mom. She's in so much pain.

Here's a photo of my beautiful father, he was 64 years old.

Your dad's picture is indeed beautiful! My hearfelt sympathy to you and your family.
Having special memories of your dad can really be a GIFT to treasure. A caring and loving father is a rare jewel I think-- so you have been very blessed.

emoticon Really my deepest condolences for you, I lost my granma for lung cancer as well. Praying you will find the strength to be strong for your mum, and find the support from your loved ones. Hang in there, it will be all right. Dont regret the moments, just remember the love, God bless you emoticon

Oh no! My deepest condolences on your loss.

It is one of my greatest fears to lose my dad. He was diagnosed with throat/mouth cancer last month and went through his first tumor (out of 2) removal last week.

I will keep you, your dad and your family in my prayers.

My heart aches for you and your family. Your Dad was a handsome guy with a beautiful smile! Hang onto the all the good things you remember and not the dark days you've just gone through. He would WANT you to remember him.......smiling..................

It is so sad and so difficult to say good to the someone you love so dearly. I hope knowing that a total strange is thinking about you and cares about you and your family is just a little piece of comfort and support.
