It amazes me how many new things I learn about this weight loss journey. I am fastly approaching my 1 year anniversary on SP but I still come across new things. This week this is what I learned
1. Drink water when I wake up and before breakfast
I have been able to drink about 16 oz to get my day started and now my body craves the water as soon as I wake up. This is definite keeper in my healthier lifestyle.
2. Oatmeal is for hot weather
I found a recipe for summer oatmeal- 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup oats, 1/4 dried fruit or fresh and let sit in fridge overnight. This is a great way to get my fiber intake in 80 degree weather
3. Limit myself
Before I got so caught up in team challenges that I did not know if I was coming or going. This week I limited myself to 2 challenges and once these are over I will do 2 more on different teams.
So this week has been pretty good for me.
I managed to eat 3-5 servings of fruit in veggies
Cardio almost every day
Stuck to strength training schedule
