I have a date for my surgery. I will be going in at 7:30 am on June 7th- 2 weeks from today. I am really ok with this. The timing of the surgery is good. The stress of not knowing, not feeling that great is or will be soon over. The best news is that it can be done with laparscopy.

I will be able to go on the 10 day trip with my husband a week later and slowly begin marathon training when we get back. I have confidence in my doctor and have high hopes for the best outcome.

I hope your recovery is smooth and you're back to training in no time!

Toothful99 is a spark friend of mine. See my page. I know about having surgery and how to recover. To recover you need to prepare before the surgery so the body is ready.

You will be fine, think positive. I had a multilevel cervical spinal fusion, left hip replacement, and lumbar surgery over a few years. Fight!

Good luck to you! I'll be thinking about you that day.
