I Still Feel Strong; And, Know That I Can Still Do This!

Thursday, May 24, 2012

Okay, yes, I see that once you reach one milestone; the next one is further away. However, I still feel the same spirit, as I had when I first found, and joined SparkPeople. I am so determined to reach all of my goals, and dream weight; I do not have any intention of letting my focus wander elsewhere! My stamina is getting stronger and stronger each day; and, I will start exercising 30 minutes a day; except for Sundays. Sundays are God's days of designated rest. I have a weak immune system, due to the medications that I am on; however, one day, and soon, I want to be able to return to Church, and worship him. For the time being, I have to be satisfied with my Bible, and T.V. I am hoping that exercise, good nutrition, and prayer will help me overcome this immune deficiency; and give me the strength, to return to Church. However, at the moment, I will just concentrate on improving myself. I do not care what some people say; your outward appearance does have a lot to do with how you feel on the inside. I want to feel better about myself; as I did before I became ill. And, because I started to do something about it; I am already starting to feel good about myself.

That's true - I recently told my sister the same thing when I sent her a surprise gift of house dress that she can wear and help feel a bit better as she too suffers from a disease where she's home most of the time. However, staying with God will help you get past where you are and motivate you to keep striving for great health as that's His will that you live in good health. I wish you well on your journey and as you read your Bible I pray God leads you to the spiritual nourishment your spirit needs daily.
