Back at the beginning of February I had set some goals. They consisted of:
Long term goals:
-Lose 67 more pounds. This would put me at my first goal of 190. I will reevaluate if I want to lose further after that. I don't know if 190 is possible. I'm so tall and have a large frame... I don't know if 190 exists in here. The Wii fit says to be at a healthy weight I should be 148. HAH! Never gonna happen!
-Become a size 18 or smaller.
-Run a 5k
Medium term goals:
-214 pounds. The weight I was as freshman in HS. 1/4/01 – To be this weight again would be amazing. I know it was never any less than that after that day. It only kept rising from there.
Short term goals:
-Lose 100 pounds. 237. 20 more pounds to go!
-Work on Jillian Michaels 30 day shred as daily as possible.
Well, out of those goals, I've accomplished my short term goal of losing 100 pounds! I am now at 118 pounds lost and can't wait to smash my medium term goal of weighing 214 within the next few weeks! My long term goal of 190 is so close now, I can practically see it!
I am still in awe every day that I have come this far. I am absolutely stunned that I was able to do it. It makes me so confident and so happy. My boyfriend even called me a ham this morning cause I said I actually enjoyed being in pictures now!
Last Saturday was the color run. It was an absolute BLAST! Here are some pics:
Before the run, all clean and way too white! That was fixed rather quickly! (I'm the one on the right)
Finished the run in 48 minutes. Only ran maybe .75 miles, it was just too fun looking around at all the people getting themselves full of the different colors!
Every 15 minutes after the run they had a color toss with the bags of color they give you at the beginning. When you are in the middle of the crowd all you can see is about a foot in front of you with all the powder all over!
Lots of fun and I was only pink for a few days after the race! :-)
