I just finished my last workout of week one, so that technically means rest until Sunday...when week two starts!!
The food situation is better, I have gotten creative but still need to do some tweaking so I'm not going to bed hungry or feeling like a stuffed sausage from squeezing in 5-6 'meals' each day. Two nights ago I was determined not to eat anything after 7 since I'm in bed by 10...so I went to sleep hungry. Last night I gave in and had a protein shake at 8:30. Aaaaghhh!! Does it really matter? I work out in the evening so I know that is burning up my fuel and leaving me on empty...like I said, I got some kinks to work out with my food. But overall the 'clean' eating is not so bad!
I'm sure there are things I'm eating that are not on Jamie's list BUT I am not eating anything processed or frozen or out of a box. Hmmpphhh!
The workouts...love them so far. I was concerned I was going to have to re-do my legs from yesterday because I didn't feel any soreness this morning, which I usually do after a new workout. Behold, it started setting in after lunch, I feel better now!
I checked out the facebook page of Jamie Eason and after looking at the before and after shots of regular women like myself, I am greatly encouraged this program will give me the results I'm looking for. Truthfully, I am teetering in the top of my 'normal' weight range for my height. It's my mid section to upper thigh area that I would like to see shrink an inch or two; even I stay the same weight I'll be happy. Going by the pictures, I can see a noticeable difference in the women's hips, so yay me, I am hopeful!!
Incorporating flaxseed into my daily meal (just one tablespoon per day) is something that has eluded me, until today. I've just kept forgetting! I think I'll let it sit on my counter in the kitchen until it becomes a habit.
I'm glad to be done with the workout part of week one. I can now focus on getting my house and my meal plan together for my friend that's coming to visit this weekend!!
Hope everyone is having a great week & thanks for reading my blog!
