Slept a little too long, but my friend Diann wanted to go swimming since it was hot today, so we went swimming for about 2 hours. We didn't swim laps or anything, but we did use some of those rings to throw to the bottom of the pool and dive for them, so I did get quite a workout. Didn't get a walk in, but the swimming wore me out so I think that was good enough! :)
Then afterward, got a call from my Uncle from PA with some great news. He's a truck driver and for the first time EVER he got sent down here, to Tampa. So he called to tell me that he wanted to get together tomorrow. I haven't seen him in almost 3 years, and so I am very excited to see him! I miss him so horribly sometimes; he's the closest to a Dad I have because he took care of me during my teen years. It's just too bad I won't get to spend a whole lot of time with him, because he'll still be on schedule and has to take his load back up to New York, but I am grateful that I get to see him at all! It has been too long.
So today turned out being an awesome day; but tomorrow is going to be even better! Just wish my Mom could go too, but she has to work. My friend Diann is going to go with me, though so I don't have to drive by myself.
But have some things I have to do around the house before trying to go to bed. So will be back tomorrow! Goodnight!
