DH checked into the surgery center Tuesday May 22nd at 10:30am for his hernia operation. The previous surgeries went well this morning for the surgeons and did not take as long as expected so they were able to start his surgery at 11:00 instead of 11:45. There was no excess bleeding or any other complications so it was done inside the 45 minutes they had planned! DH did well in recovery so I was able to join him in the Post Op area sooner than expected too. We were able to leave at 1:45pm. DH is now resting comfortably at home with our little dog Riley in his lap. His pain is under control and we are praying for a restful night.
