Back to walking....

Ok, the fitness side of the plan did not get actually done last week. It is hard for me to be consistent in that. I have never been fond of exercise, much less sweating, but here I am, trying to introduce walking into my day, with little success, I might add.

A new week started yesterday, and I did not get to walk. Today, it felt good to get back into the walking routine again. Did almost an hour, got to walk with a friend, so we were able to talk and be entertained while we walked.

Now, Wednesday looms ahead and it looks like I will not make it tomorrow either, so let's hope for Thursday and maybe even a good close of the week on Friday (doubtful, I have an appointment with my nutritionist, but we'll see.).

    Every little bit you get in is some walking you wouldn't have done before, so remember to cheer yourself on.

You don't have to be walking an hour a day, every day, right off the bat. If you can only walk for 10 minutes, then do that. Heck, that can be walking in place. It can be showing up 10 minutes early for an appointment and walking around the building a time or two.
