Needing a Different Attitude

Tuesday, May 22, 2012

My birthday is tomorrow.

All the difficult, painful stuff I've gone through the last two years has aged me. :-(

I've even gained 10 pounds or so. (sigh)

So, what am I to be thinking?

The worst is past, now I can concentrate on the future??

Any suggestions?

Happy Birthday...make your wish be that this year will be the best year of your life and every year to follow will be even better.
That is my wish for you.

This is starting a new season in your life. Look to the future and not the past. You can't fully embrace all that God has for you in the future if you hold on to the past. Enjoy your birthday! It is a special day for you are a special person. There is no one just like you. God created you and He loves you. He has a good plan for your life!

I hope you can get some special "me" time for your special day - get as much rest as you can, treat yourself gently and have a wonderful birthday!

I was challenged in the past week by a Spark People article or blog about "dreaming" possibilities. (Something that is NOT my strong suite.) -- The article mentioned how Grandma Moses STARTED her paintings in her 70's. That is kind of fascinating stuff to me!

My challenge to you is to "dream" what new thing(s) you might attempt in the coming year to celebrate your knowledge, wisdom, gifts, abilities, etc. We have yet to see what Elisa can do, eh!!?

A very Happy Birthday to you!! Best wishes in the coming year!

Yes, the worst is past, and you survived it! The only thing you can do with the past is learn from it and then move forward.. Bad things will happen.. that's a given, but what you can change is how you react to it. Will you let it bother you and weigh you down both mentally and physically or will you deal with it positively and take the weight off your shoulders?
Hope you enjoy your special day tomorrow :) Do something nice, just for you! You deserve it!

If you don't let go of the past, it moves forward and becomes your today, then your future. You deserve to create a better future.

I agree with LNSYLVSDOGS and ECONLADY. Do something special for yourself tomorrow. Don't look back, look forward. Tomorrow is a new day, a new beginning. Always look forward. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Yes, the past is past. The future is only dimly seen. What you have is today. Live each day fully and enjoy the little things in life. A flower, a cooling breeze, a child's smile, green trees, etc.

May God bless you. And Happy Birthday!
