LOVE the Body by Vi 90 day challenge!!!

I'm about 10 days into my Body by Vi 90 day challenge and have lost 4.4 pounds!

The Body by Vi 90 day challenge is a program designed to help people meet their healthy nutrition, weight loss, and fitness goals. I didn't want to set a weight loss goal because I was afraid I wouldn't lose any weight, so I told myself I was just doing it to get more protein and balanced nutrition, and hopefully build lean muscle. But look what happened!! I'm excited to see how 90 days of great nutrition will change my body!

ViSalus sciences has different challenge kits they sell for different goals, but each challenge kit is centered around a nutritional meal-replacement shake. The shake mix tastes really good! (like cake mix) and with the one mix you can make hundreds of different shake recipes so you don't get sick of having the same thing all the time. I have already started a list of a few hundred that I am working my way through :) Today I had the shake mix on popcorn for a "kettle corn" snack.

I love the challenge because the products are affordable (less than $2 a meal), convenient, and delicious! I can take a shake in the car with me. I also love the variety of all different kinds of shake recipes, and think summer is the perfect time of year for it. 2 words: beach body. Besides shake mix, they have healthy "cookies" (high protein), energy drinks, vitamins, metabolism boosters, appetite suppressants, etc. to help you meet your personal goals. The success stories are amazing!

    I should mention, the daily menu on the Body by Vi challenge:

    breakfast - shake
    mid-morning - snack (think protein or fruit/veg)
    lunch - shake (I have this one within 30 min of a workout to build lean muscle)
    mid-afternoon - snack (again, protein, fruit/veg)
    dinner - something reasonable and healthy

    you can have the 2nd shake for lunch OR dinner, I just like it at lunch bc I eat dinner with my family and have to cook anyway :)
