Not bad! I'm kind of frustrated with my calves not budging even a little bit (It's not like I'm lacking in that department!) and my upper arm staying the same size even though I swear I'm starting to actually see a tiny bit of definition. My boyfriend even commented on it (without my prompting him! ha), so it can't be just my imagination. At least my hips finally lost a little bit! I have no complaints, really, and am glad to be successfully chipping away bit by bit.

I've been terrible about doing strength training exercises the last few weeks and really need to get back to that. I had signed up for the boot camp that's this month but basically bailed since you need resistance bands for at least one and I don't have any. . . Plus I don't like exercising in front of my boyfriend so doing the videos on the weekend wouldn't really work. Maybe following the other videos for a while (on weekdays!) is what I need to refresh myself. it just got so boring doing the same moves, or only switching some here and there.

On the other side, I've been pretty good about cardio. I'm in Week 7 of the 5k Rookie Running Program. This is the week you start by walking one minute and running four, which is flipped from the very first week when you walk four and run one. That feels like quite an accomplishment.

As far as physical activity in general goes, it's bumped up big time this month. Lots and lots of gardening to do, which I enjoy, though it can be tough physically. (Not that I'm complaining!) The other day I spent several hours digging up lily of the valley that was choking itself and everything else with its four inch thick mat of roots. Pretty impressive little plant. . .

    I love lily of the valley and have tried to grow it without success. LOL.

    At least your measurements are moving, mine haven't moved an inch and I mean that! So keep at it. I will be glad when mines are reflective of all the work I am putting in! But yes, these are pretty damn impressive....yes maam! emoticon emoticon emoticon
