As I was getting all of my heavier weights dusted off yesterday, I looked around my bedroom at my space, and got bummed that there was no way to fit a squat rack in near my elliptical machine. That beast is huge.
In addition to my thirst for a better weekly weight regimen, I've also been really missing spin classes that I used to take before we moved to CT.
We have two great spin locations right here in my town, so I drove to the main gym and I did it- I joined right there on the spot, knowing that if I went home and thought about it, I would have procrastinated about it. They have Les Mills classes, so I can get my fill of all the Pump and Spinning classes I want now. :)
I went to my first spin class this morning at 5:30. I LOVED it, and realized how much I missed it. I was home by 6:30 with half an hour to spare before the kids got up for school. I'm looking forward to my first Pump class tomorrow morning, same time. I love early morning workouts.
So I'm back at the gym, and so happy to be! I hate home workouts, and even though I kept up with them, they never were truly hard workouts for me. It's so much better in a group setting for what I need.
