Enjoying the long weekend..

Hi..I was so pooped yesterday I didn't blog..

..Yesterday was spent first at an auction sale for about an hour, then fencing in the community pasture until around 6:30 pm...then time to get home for a late supper and pick all the woodticks off me..yikes!! Then off to bed early...

...Today we gave the herd bulls some shots and then vaccinated some of the cows that are left behind the barn..then turned some out and 2 of the ones with twins took off with only one twin each and we had to get them back in and paired up... hubby changed oil in one of the quads..I mowed lots of grass and used the grass catcher and gave the clippings to the animals around the yard...we also did some work on the corrals after the bulls rearranged some of the furniture...

..Hubby went over to the pasture again late afternoon and did a bit more fencing. I did more grass mowing, quadded the herds, did night chores, laundry, dishes, got a late supper ready and made lunch for hubby tomorrow. It's the first pasture take in so hubby will go with the rider, lunch and take in 6 herds on the first side..

..I have a couple trips planned..need to get drinking water and also get our grain truck licensed so hubby can go for some seed grain on Wednesday...then maybe to town for mail or Weyburn if our tractor parts are in on the bus..

..I did take time to have a bubble bath and watch some hockey tonight before hubby came home..

Well thanks for dropping by and keep on Sparkin'

Love Donna emoticon
