Swim Day!

Today, I swam for 46 minutes. I've been keeping my water time to 30 minute sessions leaving some energy left afterward for cycling, jogging, or both. Yesterday, I cycled for 40 minutes, then walked 2 miles. This morning, my plan was to swim for 30 minutes, then walk / jog intervals for 2 miles. Then.... I couldn't find the fob that works my key-less car. I'm still getting used to a car that doesn't start by turning the key. Weird. I didn't eat breakfast early, put off trying to find the car turner-on (which I did eventually find after re-tracing where my purse had fallen yesterday). Later than I expected by the time I got going. So, I'm at the pool, wading into the water, and I thought: just swim, give the pool all you've got. And that's what I did. I was planning to double the distance I'll cover in the minitriathlon. Two laps shy I thought the lifeguards were getting ready to blow the whistle for closing the morning session, so I stopped. Felt great to kick fast, swing my arms strong, not worrying about saving my legs and energy for the next activity. Tomorrow, back on the bike.

    Wow, you are hardcore. I usually only do one thing a day, unless its Brick Day. (But that's another story).
