Completed another week.
I don't think I've ever lasted this long on a program without skipping a workout! Just skipped the very last one on week 1 because I was resting for my half marathon. I think I more than made up for it!
I'm not sure if I'm feeling stronger, like Jillian suggests I should be on the videos. I think this week was easier than last week but not sure if it's because I'm stronger or if I'm just familiar with the workout. Who knows!
I'm also not losing much weight. First week I lost 2.5 lbs, but second and third week only 1/2 lb each week. Total to date less than 4 lbs. I think a big part of it is the nutrition. Week 1 I totally had my A game. Weeks 2 & 3 not so much. There was Mother's Day, after all! lol I will measure myself on Sunday, though. I did before beginning the program and haven't since. Perhaps I'll be able to report lots of lost inches, although I'm really not seeing it in my clothes. We'll see!
Today I got a sandwich at Subway then went to the grocery store and got lots of stuff for salad plus grilled chicken and tuna. I think I'll alternate between the two. I have a refrigerator at work and keep the stuff there. Then I don't have to prepare the night before. Also takes a lot of the guesswork from deciding what to order for lunch, not to mention I spent about $20 for everything. That's about $5 per day. Heck of a lot cheaper than most meals out there.
I'm also thinking about signing up for another half marathon. A local one on September 23rd. That gives me 18 weeks to train, and since the mileage in the beginning's pretty low, it'll work great for extra cardio during the program. I'll run on the same days as the JMBR workouts and do some other form of cardio on Wednesdays and Saturdays, maybe even the Cardio DVD's with the program.
