I know how to do thisÖlose weight but Iíve been struggling for a long time. I track, I donít track. I exercise, I donít exercise. I eat whatever I want, I watch what I eat. I have a plan, I donít have a plan.
My plan for nowÖ
Eat right. Portion control. Say no to sugary foods. Say yes to veggies.
This is where Iím starting this week.
I planned dinners for most of the week. I bought the food. I planned ahead.
I didnít buy lots of processed foods at the grocery store. I bought lots of fresh veggies and trimmed meats. I also bought frozen veggies for use when ever. I planned salads and low cal but tasty sandwiches for my lunch.
In the future I will begin to lean away more from processed foods including granola bars, protein bars and chex mix. These are the three items that are consistently in my lunch every day. I can make my own if I still want them but since I purchased these items and no one else will eat them in my house, I will continue to put them in my lunch until they are gone because I simply canít afford to just toss them. Plus, they are fine as part of my diet for now. But I do want to get away from eating so much processed foods.
Less processed foods will mean more cooking for me. Which is fine. I donít know why I stopped cooking so much. I like to cookÖmaybe not every day but I do like to cook. Of course thatís what leftovers are for.
