My Daughter is Still Touching Lives Even After Her Passing... (PIC)

Sunday, May 20, 2012

My friend Heather was pregnant with her son when Maddie and Josh passed away. So naturally her son never met Maddie. When Heather was pregnant with her son and Maddie was alive she'd try to teach Maddie to say "Boobies". We used to laugh and joke about it all the time. I'd tell her "Keep it up and karma will come back to bite you in the butt." Most pictures I have of Maddie she's cutting her eyes in them. Well, Heather said her son does the same thing! She affectionately calls it the "Maddie look."

A few months before Alan and I moved to FL I gave Heather all of Maddie's old furniture because she was expecting another baby. She put Maddie's dresser in her son's room until she could figure out where she was going to put it. Her son kept freaking out every night and telling her that someone was in her room. When Heather told me about it I jokingly told her, "Maybe Maddie's telling him, "Hey don't mess my dresser up. Maybe he can "see" her spirit. My half sister could see Maddie and Josh's spirits shortly after they passed away." We thought nothing more of it and continued on with our lives.

Well you fast forward to last week and she started hearing him talk to himself late at night when he was in bed. She'd ask him who he was talking to and he'd just smile. Then this weekend he started talking out loud (like he was talking to someone) right in front of Heather. Then Heather rememberd the conversation we had.

She pulled out her cell phone and started showing him pictures of all the little girls of her friends. She'd ask him as she pointed at a pic, "Is that your friend?" "No" "Is that your fried?" "No." Then she came across a picture of Maddie and asked him, "Is that your friend?" "Yea".

So he now has a new imaginery friend to keep him company. All of my other friends have told me, "He now has his own guardian anagel".
