Better Day!

Sunday, May 20, 2012

Yesterday was an iffy day. I did go over my limits but with good stuff instead of Junk. Today has been pretty good. Am right on track and plan to stay there.
Gabe, Jeff and I worked together yesterday and got all the two by fours put up for the fence. There is one more section that we have to the posts put up. I wanted to start on the dog ear panels today, but I am not up to it. Looks as though Wednesday will be the next day for us to do anything on it. The neighbor to the south finally finished the area of fencing between our properties. It really looks good. He had two of his brothers help him and they worked well together. They put up one section of two by fours for me. They will never know how much I appreciate it. I prayed that the Lord would bless them for their kindness.
From now on when I take my shower/bath, I will be carrying the water out to the plants. It will not hurt them and will keep down on our water and sewage bill. I don't know how many buckets I carried out but I know that it was at least five. Economize, economize, economize is the name of the game.
I haven't spent too much time outside today because I am doing the house cleaning. Have the kitchen done and most of the living room. Gabe is watching Harry Potter so I won't finish the living room until there is a commercial.
I have to get finished sorting in the back bedroom, so when Gabe comes to stay this summer he will have his own space. I believe he will like that. His mom is picking him up about noon tomorrow so he can go to school for the half day Wed, and I believe he also has a ball game Tuesday night.
Today has been a very tranquil day. I have spent time communing with the Lord and that makes all the difference in the world.
God bless to all
Barb

I'm glad you had a good day. It's nice of you to take care of Gabe and I'm sure he also enjoys spending time with you and Jeff. That's wonderful that the neighbors helped with the fence on their side. I'm glad you've gotten some of yours done too. emoticon

I am very fortunate in that most of the time where I live, God waters the plants. There is a dry period during the summer when we have to do some watering, but the rest of the time, God is taking care of it.
