I'm going to start training for a 5k. My big goal is to run the Disney Princess Half Marathon in February. Does anyone have any helpful hints? I know I need some shoes and a good pedometer. I've found quite a few races for this year in my area. I'm going to do a 5k, then a 10k, and then a half marathon.

    I"m a part of the C25k group here on SP. Starting week 3 today I hope. Haven't signed up for a 5k yet..I'm skeeerd..LOL

    I really love running! I do intervals so I stop running and walk every so often. I find I end up having a faster time that way.

Try some spark teams here. I have done the 5k your way team and it was a big help, Right now I do Jeff Galloway team too.

Does not matter how you do it, just do it (right?)

    Ask Riceandbeans (Meg). She did it this winter and can probably give you some tips.
