First off...I'm not the one that ran the triathlon.
Friday was "WOD makeup day" at the gym. You could do any of the workouts from earlier in the week or work on skills. There was only six of us that day. I wanted to do Thursday's workout which was"
400 m run
Three rounds of:
-25 tire flips
-10 pistols (5 on each leg)
-20 dumbell snatches
200 m lunge
200 m run
It was a tough workout! The tire flips were fun, but my biceps and forearms are REALLY sore yesterday and today. I flipped a tractor tire. Those are big and heavy! And the tops of my thighs are very sore from the lunges. Ow ow ow.

One of my crossfit classmates did a triathlon yesterday. Tom's before and after pics are hanging up at our gym and I never would have recognized him before. He used to be very overweight and out of shape. Now he looks amazing! It's taken a lot of hard work for him and Jess (our trainer).
Jess, her partner Mindy, their daughter, myself and two other crossfit people came to support him. Jess & Mindy brought their puppies so that was pretty fun during the bike race where we were just standing around.
The triathlon consisted of 1000 yard swim, 15 mile bike ride and 3.1 mile run. Tom wanted to finish it in 90 minutes. He did it in 82!!! He was so happy, it was such a great thing to see. I'm so glad we came out to support him. :)
