I am way past my goal of 1600 minutes this month with 10 days to go..1845. Real happy, and hoping that the exercise is a reason for no gout attacks in exactly 2 months. Certainly, so gout attacks is a reason for all the walking..lol
My other goal seemed simple. I just lose 4 lbs in 4 weeks, get down to 215. This was the weight I was at 20 years old, and in 9th grade also. Problem is, my brother and I ate non-sanctioned meals for about a week. Saturday, I ate perfectly, and while not binging every day, I had off-plan snacks, and meals almost every day last week. So my brother who was 331, after a bunch of meals, including another 4th meal at Taco Bell Friday night, weighs in at 331 today.. meanwhile I gained 15 lbs, to weigh 234 Saturday morning. I am down to 231 right now. So I have decide to keep doing my walking, and re-started doing 2 exercises a day with body weight, and resistance bands.
Day 1 = biceps, and calves on the stairs
Day 2 = abs, and free weight squats
Day 3 = pushups, and laterals for my delts.
I figure I can do back when I lose another 30, and can do chin-ups. I just am hoping to maintain a bit of muscle, and burn a few extra calories. As far as diet, I am going very low carb to break my cravings, and avoiding meals with my brother..lol
There are 60 days between Saturday, and my next doctor visit ( July 17th )... I am going to keep weighing in on Tuesdays, and see what happens.
