It's close to 90 degrees here today and we hadn't turned on the air conditioning just yet, so I thought why not do my Tracy Anderson workout. Ha ha ha... I must have been insane, but in a good way. After all, Tracy wants you to sweat.
I had the opportune time when the kids were napping, so I put on my workout clothes and sweated it out for 30 minutes of MS and 30 minutes of Zumba cardio. I tried a different Zumba disc today to mix it up. I personally find it more fun when I'm not doing the same thing every day. Tomorrow, I'll probably switch back to the Tracy cardio.
I'm so excited that I'm half way through level 1. It is so encouraging. This time I seem to be committed to giving it a real try. I'm not sure what kind of results I will have at the end of this level. My nutrition last week was not as good as it has been in the past. Today I sat down and planned out a menu for the week, picked up my CSA box, and went shopping at Whole Foods. I'm prepared this next week to eat healthier.
Last October after watching Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead, we tried the green juice fast for a week. I loved it. The first few days were a little rough, but after that I had never felt better. We continued to drink green juice every day for several months. I then started reading the book Eat to Live by Joel Fuhrman. I decided that I was going to try eating vegan. We did that for a month and then switched to a more vegetarian diet with some meat on occasion. But this last month, we got a bit lazy and switched back to our old habits. So time to reboot again and get back at it.
