I met with my nutritionist and she suggested that instead of a six week maintenance plan, I do thre weeks and then do the stringent, medically-supervised diet again for 30 days. I'm going to attempt it. This has been my most successful attempt to actually achieve my goals and I think because my nutritionist has so much faith in me, as well as my teammates and leaders for the last challenge, I can do it again.
I've discovered that I can eat when I'm hungry, not because I'm bored, nervous or upset. I've tried all kinds of new foods -- I'm not nearly as fussy about my food as I was in the past.. I've managed to keep up my exercise -- which gives me the "feel good about myself" push that I apparently needed.
I want to thank all of the people on the various Spark teams that I belong to for their help, encouragement and just being there to listen to me!!
