I'm noticing I'm eating less and eating normal portions pretty consistently which is making me happy! It does mean I bring food home when I eat out and I'm throwing food away, but I keep reminding myself I'm NOT a trashcan!
I'm noticing that I enjoy being active and I think and feel different when I do something active every day. I have more energy and less pain and the rare times when I overdo it and I get a little sore I don't just stop exercising for weeks on end, I just focus on taking care of me with hot tub, sauna, hot pad, a bath, massage, light exercise, Advil, whatever works, but I keep going!
I haven't lost enough for anyone to notice a weight change or comment yet, but they sure do notice that my choices are different! I'm out and about walking, hiking, swimming and it spills over into hanging my clothes, wearing make up, dressing up, cleaning my room, keeping my car A LOT cleaner and spending more time smiling at and saying hello to random strangers.
Today we were planning cleaning house, doing laundry, then going swimming and having an evening family walk outside when it is cooler and a trip to a waterfall tomorrow afternoon to hike...usually on a weekend I'd spend half the day completely exhausted, feeling bad, then we'd go for fast food and go shopping and watch too much TV...this is SO MUCH BETTER!
