Yesterday I did week 7 day 1 of the c25k program. I ran 25 minutes. I haven't ever run 25 minutes I don't think.......in my life. I made a mistake though and tracked my run with an iphone app called mapmyrun. It showed me that I walk actually faster than I run. When I found out that information, I was disappointed and discouraged. I posted on the c25k team here on SP and the responses were thoughtful and kind. I was still discouraged though and I know that is NOT the way to be. I am making progress, it doesnt really matter how slow I am. I think what was hard to grasp is the fact I walk faster than I run at this point.
Im working on changing my attitude. Its a process.
