I had a pretty good day with the food intake today. I was very busy at work and didn't have time to even think about snacking! Fruits for breakfast and veggies for lunch. I had a KIND snack bar mid afternoon, at that point I had only eaten about 300 calories since my fruits and veggies were all raw with no dips or anything, and I felt like I just needed something more. I had one serving of Pop Chips for a snack when I got home and an Amy's Burrito for dinner since my boyfriend is out for the evening. I occupied my time by going through all of my summer clothes as I was finishing switching my clothes for the season and removing all the XLs. I had done this with most of my nicer clothes a couple months ago but had not weeded through my t-shirts the same way.
Tomorrow we will be heading to my boyfriend's mom's house to take her to dinner for her birthday. It's a bit sad since his dad passed away just a month ago and I know she misses him a lot (we all do) and events like this just intensify the loss for her. The memorial service is next weekend so there will be some last minute planning for that as well, although she has just about everything taken care of already. If I'm lucky there might even be some calorie-burning yard work for us to do! That would help offset any extra that I consume at dinner!
