Still trying to make a little progress during this difficult time. While I haven't really worked out (I believe stress is a great workout on its own), I have been careful about what I eat. It's amazing how comfort food is full of butter, starch, cheese, sugar, cream, etc. I have been trying to find comfort in the lovely fruit salads people sent, along with spending time with my husband trying new, healthy foods (we discovered a new Japanese restaurant that I think will become our favorite very quickly!).
I'm very excited that the scale hasn't moved up. It hasn't moved down either, but I'm cutting myself a break about that.
All I can really say is that death sucks, make sure your family is taken care of if you pass suddenly, and hug your loved ones daily and tell them you love them.
I'll be back to my workouts starting Monday. For now, I'm just trying to make it through the days.
