I would call it a succesfull week.

So I had set new goals for the summer

• First goal was to do more strength training.
This week was my first week and I say it was totally successful. I did Cathe arms last Friday, Jillian NMTZ Sunday, Cathe arms Tuesday, Jillian abs Wednesday and Cathe legs Thursday. It’s a start and I might increase it to full body on Tuesday, Thursday and once on the weekend.

• Second goal was to cut back on the cardio. Beginning of the week was not too successful at it but I got better. Did a bike ride last Thursday, hike on Saturday, mowing on Sunday, bike ride Monday, then my body was screaming at me TOO MUCH, so I stopped for the rest of the week until this morning. I went for a 3 mile jog/walk at 5 am.

• Third goal was to keep up eating the calories. This was not too bad. I did catch myself a couple of times of not wanting to eat cause I did not do a ton of cardio. I have to get over this and trust what I have learned and read that you need to eat to lose weight and diet is 80% of weight loss. I have been undereating and it so has not been working for me.

• Fourth goal was to go back to lower carb and this was very successful. I just feel a bit better about it. I am missing my gluten free toast in the morning but I’ll get over it.

The plans for next week.

• Lawn work on Saturday and Sunday, including planting more of my garden.

• Jillian NMTZ on Saturday or Sunday.

• Bike ride on Monday with new bike seat.

• Cathe arms on Tuesday morning, Jillian abs on Wednesday, Cathe legs on Thursday.

• Bike ride with hubby and youngest DD of Wednesday after work (Wike bike trailer is arriving today so she can come out with us now, will post pics).

• Walk/jog outside Friday.

I have not really looked at the scale in about 3 months. I am seeing how the pants fit to judge on how I am doing. This was been a bit freeing. I might get on the scale next weekend to just see where I am at and then stay off for a month. My water weight fluctuates so bad during the summer that I just need to stay away from the scale (as should a bunch of my sparkfriends, just saying).

I also got my new bike seat and it does feel a bit better on the girly parts but not sure if it is still wide enough for the sit bones. We will see on Monday and I have another one in mind if this one does not work out the best. Hope it does though.

One thing I did learn from this morning run is my foot is NOT healed. It is pretty sore again. So basically no real running for a while.
