More baby steps

More realtor stuff has been happening. Seems to rule my life lately. I actually ran into the other Realtor when I was waiting to meet my new one. She asked me what I was doing there and i told her. She said "Oh I didn't know that". I felt like we dumped her. Our personalities just didn't clash. I am no good at working with people I can't read. I understand sales ppl have to put on a different face to sell things. I am sure they are taught that. But I want someone honest. If she is phony when selling to us. What else is she being phony about? The realtor we have now actually was recommended to me by a spark friend long before we met the other one. Oh well. Also the new one is very personable and we talk about running. She text messaged me about a running website. She's just really sweet.

Anyway the realtor took us to 6-7 houses we had not seen in 2 days. Just so that we saw what was in our price range and know we were sure about the first house we really liked. Last went back to the house we have liked for 3 weeks. I wanted her opinion on it. She walked through and took a lot of time showing me things. She stood out in the yard, looking at the neighborhood, looking at the house and said "Yep I would buy this one". I think going back in for a 3rd time really nailed everything together. Every other house we looked at, I felt like we were doing her a favor going beyond the family room. So today we are putting in our first offer! Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Wednesday I did the Ride of Silence with Scott and a spark Buddy, Jen. Turnout this yr was better then last yr! 160 people came and just like last yr it felt almost like a religious experience. Biking 3 miles in complete silence with a huge group of people. It was really cool! here is a pic of Scott and I before it began.
