The fat is coming off!

This morning I got on the scales--
I am DOWN---to 202.5 --from 203.5 and before that I sat at 204 for over a year.
Well, What changed in my life?
I mean, what got me to be serious here?
I believe, watching that TV Show, ""The Weight Of the Nation"" was a huge thing for me--to see how others struggle with so much extra weight on their frame.
Yesterday, husband (and me!)---wanted to eat at McDonald's --for dinner--
Knowing this, I cut back on what I wanted to eat at lunch--I made a bacon and tomato sandwich--wanted to devour it--- but---I cut it in half and put the one half in the microwave-----so--I couldn't see it---I ate my half with a salad--
And last night, at McDonald's I ate a fish sandwich--and small fries---came home and ate an orange--
But--the best part---- I am so proud that I used my head yesterday--
I am happy that I got on that Dreadmill--
I am ecstatic that I walked 2 Germans-(as in dogs)-
I drank a lot of water--
I only had tea before bed, while watching American Idol--
And I am living proof that, maybe--just maybe--I can get below the 200 mark--
I see it just over there-
So--thanks to all the Sparklers for the encouragement-
We are so fortunate to have the tools here --
Enjoy the day to-day----

    Good for you. When I go to Mickey D's. I usually get a grilled chicken and a small side salad with a light dressing. Consistent changes in your choices whether you eat at home or eat out will make a huge difference on the scale.

    Our garden is planted including my precious Sunflower - woohoo! Last year we had so much rain in the spring that we didn't get the garden planted until the middle of June. We have been eating lettuce from the garden (I planted 4 different kinds) so having great salads right now along with fresh Asparagus. It had done terrific this year. Wish you lived close - I would share - I sure would!

    I watched the Weight of the Nation too and it's really sad and inspiring at the same time. I love that they showed people really and truly can't just walk away from food. Great day for you!!

    Wow, congrats on the weight loss. You have been waiting for that for a long time. Only a few more pounds to Onederland. I have a new found appreciation for fruit. It has become my dessert, so to speak, much like your orange. I bought half a watermelon at the grocery store and have been feasting on that this week. I am so glad that you have finally seem the scales move. I bet that made your day. After all your hard work, it's nice to see such a reward. Keep moving it in the direction of Onederland...you are really, really close enough to cross over very soon!!!! emoticon for Lynda!!!
