New Dress

Thursday, May 17, 2012

I bought this dress yesterday. Slightly on a whim... I did try it on, but over top of my work shirt! (LMAO Seriously, I couldn't undo the buttons with my fake nails getting in the way! Yeah... the price I pay for beauty! LOL)

The dress looks MUCH different on me, I think. This model is tall and slender, I am short, muscular and curvy! I actually think this dress looks BETTER on me! LMAO (I can't believe I think I look better then a model in an outfit!!!???!)
I'll have to try the dress on again and get a photo. Then, I'll let my Spark friends critique the outfit: "Who wears it best?" style LOL

No, I do not have an event to go to. But you never know when you might! If anything, I can bring it to Convention and wear it at one of the evening parties! I also want to pair it with some new shoes. I was thinking something like this: the bootie/sandal style:

I actually can't find the perfect pair in my google search... these are too tall for my liking, I wish they were more like shoes, then boots. But I love the ankle strappy-ness and the fact that they are open-toed!!
.... Tres trendy, No?

I also got a new pair of hiking boots last week! I'm already gearing up for a whole new AMAZING season of outdoor adventures!!!!

...Maybe I could just wear these booties with my new dress? LMAOOO!

    Umm, I already can picture you in that dress, with those shoes ( the 1st ones are defintely more to my liking than the 2nd)

I am really excited for your outdoor adventures to come! I remember when I "met" you here, you'd go hiking on the week-ends in those gorgeous mountains. When we went to Ireland in 2008 and we met those 2 Canadian backpackers from Alberta, I imediately pictured one of your rugged hiking adventures- and remember that cross fit race? ( or whatever mountain biking that was- I am kind of clueless when it comes to stuff like that-lol) If I ever make it up to your side side of the world, I am definitely hiking in those gorgeous mountains!

    Love the dress! I like the second shoe but, I agree, it should be shorter - less bootish.
avatar = YUMMY!

    I totally can imagine that dress on your body and I DO think it would look better! Your muscley curves would fill it out a bit better, while still allowing for the draping up top. Also...

NEW AVATAR. HOT HOT HOT HOTTT *DRoroooroooooooolllllllllllll*
