looks ...

Thursday, May 17, 2012

my clothes aren't fitting well any more ... every thing is a little too big .. but i'm still wearing it .... i am at a 16 pound weight loss for the year and 13 since early march when i started the spark .... i'm not willing to buy new clothes yet when i know i'm going to keep getting smaller ... yay ... i like that i KNOW i will ... really, there's no doubt in my mind ... i wonder if the risk now is over confidence ....

when i look at myself, i don't seem to be shrinking ... but measurements, clothes fit, and PEOPLE say otherwise .... i played in a tennis round robin and a few friends and acquaintances said i looked like i'd lost weight ... so at least someone can tell just by looking at me, right?

so it looks like i've lost weight ...
it looks like i'm going to lose some more ...
and it looks like i have new clothes in my future ... the question there is how long can i put it off!

emoticon That is awesome! I know how you feel about buying clothes since you will be losing more, but you should reward yourself! Even if it's just one new outfit! I agree with the others about the thrift stores, you can get some great deals!

I buy a few inexpensive things along the way, it keeps me motivated. I have bought from the Good Will in the past. But, lately, I have been finding really good deals at Kohls that will last me through the summer. I also am willing to have the things I really love tailored when the time comes.

Congrats on the weight loss and inches gone!

(And i second CHACHAOREO's idea about thrift shops. Goodwill is my favorite place to buy clothes!)

I feel the same way-- why spend money on new clothes when "I AM" going to lose more weight. So I shop for smaller sizes at the Salvation Army Store in my city. I love it. Every Wednesday is 1/2 price day on certain colored price tags. I buy something different every week and I usually don't pay more than $3.00 and when it's too big--I can donate it back or give it to someone else who's losing weight!!

I lost 7kg and nobody has noticed yet!! Not nice at all, cause it is a reaction very motivating.. Hope I hear it soon enough and I believe if you hear it a lot, it means you are doing something very right! Keepmup the good work!L
