This month is always crazy, with soccer tournaments, year-end concerts and award ceremonies, and wrapping up my school year. This year is even crazier, as my oldest is graduating from high school! Unbelievable! I'm also trying to line up some summer work at the last minute. For the past two years, my summer school American Lit course has been cancelled due to low enrollment. Last year, I just took the summer off, but knowing that in three short years I'll have three kids in college, I really can't afford to do that! I have a few good leads, so hopefully I will have things settled here in the next few days.
Anyway, I admit that I did get off track with my nutrition (but not exercise) after the Half a few weeks ago. My weight quickly shot up, even though I'm still running 3x/week, weight training 3x/week, and playing tennis 1x/week. It really is all about the food intake! I faithfully started tracking again on Monday, and I'm down 2 lbs already, thank goodness! My goal is to be 13 lbs lighter by my next half on 8/26. I'm aiming for a PR, and a little less baggage can only help with that mission!
