Day 42 ~ So very tired!

Wednesday, May 16, 2012

I am so tired today! I am anxiously awaiting bedtime and it's going to be a very early one tonight, too!

Been pretty hungry today, too but have stayed on plan.

Got my time in on the bike today. Really didn't want to, but kept telling myself, sitting here because you're too tired is what put all this weight ON you! Get on the bike to take it OFF! Apparently, it worked.

Thinking I might get up a little earlier tomorrow to get in some time on the bike before work.

Oh! Tomorrow is weigh-in day, too! Those always make me nervous! lol

Well, others have said it so well -- you're on your way!

And, since I've not been a regular this past week+, I just want you to know how just reading Day 42 in your title, before even reading the blog, made me so happy. I remember when you were just getting started, so to see Day 42 was for me a "Wow!" moment -- I felt so excited to see how many weeks and days have gone by now.

Get on to take it off -- great pep phrase! I just may have to get on my bike a bit more tonight and follow suit!

Way to go on getting your bike ride in in spite of not wanting to..that's what it takes to get to the finish line.

You did something very amazing to me in this post...........in my eyes, it is no small accomplishment. It is HUGE!

You handled hunger and stayed on the plan. Not sure of the specifics techniques that you used (water, fruit, veggies, gum, distraction), but YOU DID IT!

You handled fatigue and exercised anyway. This is how athletes achieve their goals too. They figure out what keeps them going.......they are their own "cheerleaders"..............they push themselves.........they have coaches or become their own coaches. This is the way people get fitter, stronger, and achieve a better body, whether it be for sports, health, or daily life.
You used a little reasoning, a little shaming and then a motivating catch phrase.......
"Get ON the bike to take it OFF!" Shows the power of these kinds of phrases.

No matter what your scale says tomorrow (Thursday), you are on your way to becoming a WINNER at your goals. The scale may not reflect your victories right away. But when you are your own personal nutritionist (with the help of the SD and Dr. A.) and your own personal trainer, you will get the body and life that you want!

You have given yourself the inner feeling of confidence that you know you can do it and that is a major achievement.
