So far,so good but,im scared!

Pain of any kind sucks but,back pain leads to other pain!In my feet,neck,legs,shoulders.My doc isnt giving me anymore leeway with my exercise until june 11th.He says im still too stiff and caution is for the best.I feel like a caged animal but get to start physical therapy on Monday.I cant imagine not being able to just get in the car and go!!!The stiffness is from being stationary.I'm getting to go see my "oldsters" tomorrow for the first time in a month.They text me daily to see about me.I gained 15 pounds but,lost 13 of those pounds with my treadmill and watching my mouth and what it eats emoticonThe doc added lifting soup cans(silly I know)and stretching with bands.My DD graduates formally on June 2nd and hopefully with some support I can put her ribbons on.She is glowing with excitement and tears threaten me daily.I was close to thinking she would give up and here she is ready to take the walk!!!!She gets the credit but,I pushed and shoved most of the way.She has been modeling her cap and gown and she looks so pretty.My DH says fly baby bird fly!! emoticonThey are oil and water but have fierce love for each other.So,im off to get some down time and read my book emoticonSUSAN

    I'm feeling a bit achey from back and neck pain myself at the moment, it,s weird how it goes everywhere, isn't it. Sounds like Shari exercise is working for you and good for you losing what you put on from emotional eating after your accident. I can tell you aren't gong to let this affect you, I see that you have all the tools to deal with this at your disposal and you are using them. Good for you.

    I can empathize with you about back pain and family growing up and becoming independent. I need to work on baby steps to start exercising.
