I saw my nutritionist today and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!!! I had gained .4 pounds (not even 1/2 a pound!!!) since two months ago when I saw her; she said she thinks I'm doing fantastic considering the stress I've been under.
We talked about my goals and the things I'm gonna work on are having a consistent carb intake (I've been eating too many carbs!!!), increasing my protein intake, and working on a 'snack bag' to take with me when I stay next weekend at the hospital with my mom. I had already been thinking about ways to get more protein...that one is hard for me! And, after this past weekend, I've also been thinking ahead to next weekend so I'll be better prepared food-wise when I'm sitting at the hospital with Mama.
I go back in 2 months and I hope I'll be able to lose at least 10 pounds by then. I KNOW I can do it...I just have to make up my mind to!!!
