Back on track - day 1 recap

So yesterday was ok - I didn't snack, once!
I had a green monster smoothie for breakkie
Cup of milk mid morning
For lunch I had a shop bought sandwich (not so great, but went for lowest fat and carbs there was) and had some delicious thai style vegetable soup. It was homemade and really light, but packed full of flavour and according to the label only 90 kcals per serving.
I didn't snack in the afternoon, just had a cup of tea - this might not seem like a major acheivment to some, but it is for me! I read some forum posts instead and tried to stay positive. I feel I did it before, I can do it again - it's just turned into a habit for me to snack in the afternoon and I can break it again.
For dinner we had tortilla "pizzas" - but I am pleased to say I didn't snack or pick at food whilst making them, and didn't snack in the evening either - even though I still felt a bit peckish. I had a cup of almond milk instead, distracted myself by chatting on the phone to an old friend and working out.
My knee is still bad, so no real "cardio" but I did Body Pump - but modified to leave out the squats and lunges track.
I am off to see the physio in a few minutes, hopefully he can tell me what to do for the best. Keeping everything crossed.
Editors Note: Just back from physio - I have tendonitis under my kneecap and inflamed cartilage - one more week off cardio (except swimming with minimal leg kicking) and ibuprofen and I should be on my way back. He is going to look at my bio-mechanics as it seems my knees are a bit "off", but once that's checked and I have made sure I have the right shoes and insoles then I should be back on track. AND can start looking at my next half marathon....maybe!
