Once in a while I give myself a goodie - whether to motivate me or just to keep me going.
I have been actively consistent with Spark for 5 months - today I gave myself a goodie from each catagory with the exception of luxury... too darn expensive! So I allowed me one luxury item - what ever I wanted.
Out of fitness I gave myself the goodie of new shoes... I wore a hole in the bottom of my old pair. Sketchers last a long time but working out 4-5 days a week wore those in
In the food catagory I gave myself my favorite fruit: watermellon - as it is back in the stores and I will eat it 2x a day
In the household items I gave myself gardening tools to work in the yard, it is great exercise and I enjoy it
In the FUN category I gave myself an I LOVE YOU - we have to love ourselves to begin the process of taking care of ourself
In the other category I gave myself swim trunks.... I did not choose the bikini as I will not wear one at 49 yrs old - I am back to swimming and I want to continue to go 80 miles and all... I love the FREEDOM in swimming
My luxury item is the door - why? Because I CHOOSE to continue to step through the door of opportunities to do good things for my health.

I need the motivation from ME to continue on my journey. Yes, I also need the support from you and those in my every day life - but if I lose the ME in this process I will never meet my goals.
